Millions being prescribed the wrong glasses (Daily Telegraph)Millions of people could be wearing the wrong glasses or contact lenses because eye tests are not being performed properly, new research suggests.

Unlicensed sellers of contact lenses targeted (Chicago Sun-Times)Beauty supply stores and flea market vendors selling cosmetic, colored contact lenses without a prescription are being told by the state to quit. The Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation ordered an immediate stop to such sales, which could draw penalties of $10,000.
