I started out taking photos of the dancers on the Dance Parade trucks. Expect some very cool ones in the coming weeks and months in this stream.
Standing on my ladder, I also got a lot of requests from people wanting me to take a group photo. As the trucks were moving by, I had to share my attention constantly and decide quickly what would be the most interesting shot. I was shooting non-stop for 90 minutes straight.
This is my favorite of the request shots. I’m very happy for getting the chance to take it. Seeing these cheeky faces makes me smile all the time. The girls showing off their tongue piercings. The guy with the scary contacts. Disturbing yet funny.
